Photography - Pocket Watch
People ask me what I take pictures of and I say, “things”. I like still life and try to take ordinary items and turn them into extraordinary subjects and compositions. The image shown here is one of a pocket watch (b/w and color). A friend of mine had a collection of broken clocks (she makes clocks using old clock pieces) and I asked if I could take pictures of some of them. It turned out to be an entire series of images showcasing her old clocks. I get the most compliments on this particular image, which is also one of my all time favorites. One day I’ll show you the rest of the series.
