The Miracle League
I’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people with big hearts, on a special project in the Frisco area, called The Miracle League of Frisco. This league is dedicated to children with special needs who want to play baseball. We’ve had our first baseball season close in June and it was a complete success. Over 40 special needs children signed up and played on a field built just for them. Everyone had a great time and now, the league is starting a soccer league as well. All sports should be available for children with special needs. We just need to figure out the logistics.
To be a part of the Miracle League field forever, you can buy a “Founding Partner Paver”. Donations start at $50 for a 4″x6″ brick, which can be inscribed. This paver will be placed around the field by fall of 2006. What a great way to leave a legacy!
